Movements never start in the comfort zone.

I’m on a mission, and I believe in having some purpose that drives you. Lately, it’s also become incredibly clear that life is short, precious and powerful when you’re driven by making an impact in the lives of others.

Over the past several years, my work and interests have taken me to some amazing places to meet with astounding people. Through that, they’ve inspired me to lead with intention and create movements for the things I believe in.

That’s helped me process and build several different concepts as change agents, two of which you can learn about below.

If you would like to get involved in either of these amazing vehicles for making change and impact, please reach out. We’d love to have your support, and have a variety of ways you can get involved.

Thank you.

Financial Intelligence Education on
Money, Careers and Entrepreneurship
for Millennials & Gen Z

What would your life look like if you had learned about money earlier? Or right out of college? Or if your employer offered you education while you were working for them?

We believe we can dramatically better communities by bettering individuals and families and their ability to make good financial choices. We call this Financial Intelligence – understanding the mechanics of money, but also understanding our emotions and habits and the way they influence our spending and decision-making.

We create experiences in money that make for meaningful memories and lasting education in a variety of different areas across the country.

We’re of the opinion that education is missing the mark when it comes to what young adults and those entering the workforce really need. So, we created Money Club, a set of workshops, seminars, games and online courses, to solve the bigger problems that young people are experiencing with their money.

Money Club focuses on the social and emotional elements of money – because we all have heard the boring talk with TONS of information about money, yet we still get sucked into impulsive spending, online shopping, poor choices that have long term impact, and even spending to impress others.

Ortus Academy and our Money Club products are available to employers who have a team made up of Millennials and Gen Z workers, to schools and youth organizations and to families.

Events and Member Group

Developing Vulnerable, Meaningful
& Authentic Relationships for Heartled,
Impact-Based Men & Women

A number of Mastermind Events, or Personal Growth workshops exist and make you feel great for a weekend. They get you all jazzed up, and when you leave, you probably have a few business cards and contacts you can call about their craft.

When you need an answer to a question about real estate, sure, you can call Ian. But I felt like something was still missing.

FrontRunner Events began out of this idea that while I loved the personal growth design of events, what I also to be present to a group of people being open and vulnerable. So I asked some questions.

What if we combined powerful exercises that force us to accelerate our thinking and lean in on the expertise in the room with periods of intentional dialogue, where we can sit next to someone and hear their story, share food and understand what they want?

What would a group of people that want to have a positive impact in the world create together?

Each quarter, no more than 15 FrontRunner members get together in a vulnerable space to learn from each other and contribute to the whole in a totally different kind of mastermind.

We focus on topics like Meaning, Prioritization of Values, and Social Equity. We support each other and develop relationships that create busineses, collaborations and partnerships. We dive deep – even if it’s uncomfortable.

The only way to create vulnerability and meaning in the lives of others is to be the leader that’s doing that ourselves. Welcome to FrontRunner. We don’t solicit, but you are welcome to contact me to learn more about it and see if it’s a fit for you.
